Chilean wine map in ferment

I spent much of the last few days in Chile tasting Chilean wines, deliberately focusing on the new. And what a lot of new Chile can offer!

In a selection of hundreds of interesting wines assembled by Wines of Chile from their members and from many of the exciting others, and served with great aplomb by Chile’s leading sommelier Héctor Riquelme MS, I kept coming across not just producers and brands that were new to me, but whole appellations that are so new they are not even on Wines of Chile’s recently updated wine map.
