The Australians have been working hard to woo the Chinese with all the wine they now have to export but, as the figures below for China's official imports of bottled wine for the first seven months of 2011 show, France is still very much flavour of the year. It's interesting to note that the Australians – just – manage a slightly higher average bottle price, but the French continue to pull away from the other countries hoping to benefit from China's new-found love of fermented grape juice.
