14 May 2019 Marquis d'Angerville's ducal monopole assessed, with great pleasure, over six decades.
My contemporary, New York-based wine writer Stephen Tanzer (seen here on the left with Guillaume d'Angerville) has decided to take things easier. (Is there a lesson here, I wonder?) Long a specialist in Burgundy, he no longer tastes young wines, preferring to dedicate his palate to verticals of venerable wines. Sensible chap. All cake and no bread and butter.
