David Berry Green goes it alone – sort of

David Berry Green, until very recently Italian wine buyer at Berry Bros and Rudd, in which role he built up an enviable portfolio of fine as well as unusual wines, has started on his own. Well, sort of. Last June he founded DBG Italia, a B2B ex-cellars service, run via Fields, Morris and Verdin, the independently operating wine importer focusing on the restaurant and retail trade. FMV is owned by Berry Bros & Rudd, which deals with private clients only.
