I sold my first bottle of wine. Just the one. It was bought by a young couple with impeccable taste at my big launch at the Ten Green Bottles wine bar in Brighton, England.
They paid £19 for the wine, made from rare Italian grape Famoso. I must admit, I was hoping to sell more.
Three articles in the local press about my mission to save rare grapes and Ten Green Bottles’ well-oiled marketing machine encouraged 25 people to buy tickets...
