My fate is sealed. Last week came the letter that was pleased to let me know that I have been accepted to join the education plan of the Institute of Masters of Wine (see £8,000 + 3 years for 2 letters?).
The entrance exam essay and tasting notes I wrote had passed muster. Since I intend this series of articles to be as frank and honest as possible, a pdf of my essay is posted below.
