Stunning burgundy 2016s but no bargain. Julia attended the annual showing of DRC's latest releases in London yesterday.

Sadly there was no Échezeaux and Grands Échezeaux in sight. The frosts of 2016 affected both vineyards so severely that yields were reduced to 6 hl/ha in the former and 7 hl/ha in the latter. It was not surprising therefore that we could not taste these two wines, of which 980 and 710 magnums were bottled respectively.
