Even more ancient (and amazing) madeiras

Miami, 1 March – Last night Dr Robert Maliner, who may well have the world's finest collection of old madeira, presented 14 of his favourite wines from this collection as an opening salvo for the 18th Annual Great Wine Seminar here in Miami. The line-up included wines which put even those scored 19 and above in my recent madeira tasting notes in the shade.
The youngest wine was a 1927 Bastardo, Leacock & Co, the oldest a quite extraordinary 1802 Terrantez, Oscar Acciaioly (those with good memories may remember another wine from this collection in my first set of fine...
