FMV – too many wines, not enough time

FMV is the amalgamation of Fields wine merchants of Sloane Avenue in London and Morris & Verdin, originally established by Jasper Morris MW and Tony Verdin. It is part of Berry Bros & Rudd and supplies UK restaurants and independent retailers with wines from 14 different countries. The agony of this portfolio tasting in mid June in London was having to choose what not to taste from the nearly 400 wines on offer; there were just so many top-class wines, all exclusive to FMV in the UK but also available in other countries. The casualties were mostly in Spain, South Africa...
