The most recently released vintage of Hawke's Bay's best-promoted reds.
While the last of our 2017 Burgundy tasting notes are added to our fifteen 2017 Burgundy tasting articles, allow me to report on these 2016 New Zealand reds. On the basis of the dozen wines described below, the 2016 vintage seems to have been pretty successful in the Gimblett Gravels subregion of Hawke's Bay on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island.
