Great value from all over southern France

I cannot stress enough what value is to be found in the south of France in the following appellations – none of them super-famous and all of them extremely variable.
These assorted tasting notes on wines made all over southern France were written on many different occasions over the last few months. Of course I have tasted many more wines, especially of the varietal Vin de Pays sort, most of which are relatively unexciting, but the wines below are truly distinctive.
