When Jancis wrote Jura – the next small thing? in 2012, she referred to the region’s ‘increasingly fashionable vineyards’ and quoted Stéphane Tissot’s view that Jura wines were ‘riding the crest of a wave’, and there has certainly been a steady increase in exports in the last five years, currently comprising 11% of production.
