Marqués de Riscal Verdejo 2006 Rueda 16.5 Drink 2007-08
85% Verdejo, 15% Viura. Incredibly fresh – grassy but also apricot flavours and a touch of spice even without oak. Fresh, bright fruit. Very clean and long. Ripe fruit and still very fresh. Mouthfilling but elegant too. 13.5% (JH)
Marqués de Riscal Reserva Limousin 2005 Rueda 17+ Drink 2007-12
100% Verdejo fermented and aged in French oak (Allier oak, ignore the name) for 6 months, including 3 months on the lees. This is their Baron de Chirel equivalent in white wine.
