Hard as nails. That's the impression I took away from the five-day exercise that is Nebbiolo Prima, the annual en primeur tasting showcasing the latest vintages of Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero. Every year the tasting of more than 300 very young, tannic, concentrated wines based on the Nebbiolo grape is a challenge. Only tasting young port can be more so. But this time it was made...
