Diego Carrea

It was a never-ending influx of work emails that Diego Carrea, a Milan-based Vodafone engineer, kept worrying about. It caused insomnia and led to a radical career change. In 2008, when he couldn't handle the anxiety anymore, he quit his well-paid job and returned to Gavi, where his father, through years of hard work and diligent acquisitions, had amassed seven hectares (17 acres) of vines.
