The wine trade is never quickest off the mark. We published a set of wine consumer New Year's resolutions on the day itself, 1 Jan 2011. But the wine trade tend to extend the New Year holidays as they know that their customers are unlikely to be placing large orders in the first few hungover or resolute days of the year.
