To whet your whistle for Elaine's forthcoming article on Oregon, and to coincide with the annual Oregon tasting in London, here is a modest selection of palate-whetting Oregonians courtesy of, variously, A & B Vintners, Indigo Wine and Wine Source.
As befits the region, most of the wines are made from either Pinot Noir or Chardonnay, although there are one or two interlopers, including the Gamay, pictured. Several new producers feature here too, including the very impressive, cleverly named Sequitur. This estate was planted by Mike Etzel of Beaux Frères, and comes from an adjacent plot.
