This Jane Eyre is no novelist but the Melbourne-born third and last element in a well-known ‘Ozgundian’ triumvirate that includes négociants Andrew Nielsen (of Le Grappin) and Mark Haisma. Together, they make a fine bunch of wines. Independent but united by a common cause. See, for instance, Burgundy 2019 – the Aussies.
Eyre had always wanted to be a vet, but peripatetic family life and schooling delays put an end to academic studies and brought her into the world of Melbourne hair salons. Elnett and fine wine are quite the non sequitur...
