Very, very different from Corney and Barrow, the pukka, royal-warranted wine merchant described yesterday by Julia, is Red Squirrel, a typical member of the new breed of wine importers I described recently in A bunch of indies. Founded in London as an online retailer and specialist Ligurian importer in 2012, Red Squirrel now represent nearly 50 producers from all over the world, as exotic and esoteric as possible.
