Rhône 2015 – whites north and south

While there were many exciting 2014 whites made in the Rhône Valley, many of the 2015s seem to have suffered from a lack of acidity. Even the examples of St-Péray, an appellation that seemed to have been revolutionised in recent years to become a reliable source of tense, exciting wines, rather disappointed me in 2015.
The best Condrieus were impressive (I have not alas had a chance to taste the 2015 from the new regime at Château-Grillet) but lacked some of the excitement of the previous vintage. And Hermitage Blanc...
