Sometimes news is just too small to warrant a whole story, but here are three snippets from very different corners of the world.
- Berry Bros & Rudd's application with Sotheby's to become auctioneers in New York City (first reported here last December) has been turned down by the New York State Liquor Board. The Londoners are currently deciding whether to appeal.
- Marlborough winery Framingham has been sold outright to the French via their Australian subsidiate Orlando Wyndham. Leading NZ wine writer Bob Campbell MW estimates that this brings the proportion of New Zealand wine made by foreign-owned producers...
