Some of the best reds made in France's difficult-to-navigate southern sprawl of vines.
Last September I took part in a blind tasting of Languedoc reds chosen by my fellow wine writer Andrew Jefford for the magazine World of Fine Wine. They asked me not to publish my tasting notes until a report on the tasting appeared in print. Hence the delay.
