The tasting year began in JancisRobinson.com in the usual fashion, with close to 2,000 new notes on the 2011 vintage of Burgundy. With such an onslaught, it was easy to miss the other olfactory highlights of the month, coming from Bordeaux, Austria, the Rhône, Rioja, Champagne, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Australia, Canada, California, Greece and Turkey. Phew!
