Strangely spirited
There was a time, back in the late 1970s, when I edited a magazine called Wine & Spirit and could tell you every last thing about what was going on in the world of strong liquor: which new cream liqueur had just been launched, a whisper that someone was thinking of launching a spirit tasting of coconut and pineapple of all things etc etc
