Like Daniel the Purple Pager, I have long been a fan of Tardieu-Laurent's range of Rhône wines, but I did feel that in some cases the heat and drought of the 2019 growing season got the better of their fine intentions, which are always to make the best possible expression of each appellation, depending usually on particularly old vines and a particularly careful oak regime, generally a time in barrel...
