As usual I trekked to the far eastern offices of Tardieu-Laurent’s UK importers Corney & Barrow in London to taste the latest vintage from this Rhône ‘micro-négoce’, as they call themselves.
The Tardieus always supply exceptionally detailed information on the make-up of each cuvée, including for example what proportion of grapes were destemmed, the name of each parcel in every blend and the (generally venerable) age of the vines...
