The books of 2012 – a guide
We've just made all eight collections of book reviews by Paul O'Doherty published over the last two weeks free for all to read. Here's a guide to them, listed in the order published, together with a list of our considerable coverage of our own 2012 book, Wine Grapes – a complete guide to 1,368 vine varieties including their origins and flavours (which is partly why we asked an outsider, Irish writer and broadcaster Paul, to write these book reviews). On the left is the US edition of Wine Grapes which differs from the edition for the rest of the world only in the colour and design of its cover and slipcase.
