The tale of a 1900 port

The story I'm going to tell you today started a few years ago at one of the best restaurants in Spain, Hispania, in the tourist resort of Arenys de Mar, 40 km north of Barcelona. Hispania and its two cooks and owners, sisters Paquita and Lolita Rexach, are a legend. A living legend. They have been serving superb traditional food, using only the very best seasonal ingredients, for over 50 years. And thanks to them (and some others, read on) we had the most amazing breakfast (yes, breakfast!), which some would describe as decadent, involving a bottle of 1900 port...
