Top bordeaux 1982s at 25

Here are the notes I took at the tasting of top 1982s just before the Starlight Foundation Dinner last week. All the wines, supplied by Goedhuis, has been doubled decanted three hours beforehand. The stages of maturity were very different, as you can see below, but it made me realise how the great majority of 1982s really ought to be drunk now. In fact there are so many wines that are ready to drink (1990s anyone?) we really should just lock ourselves and a corkscrew in our cellars and get on with it. On the other hand, there are at...
