Two American Pinot producers

I present to you today the current Pinot Noirs of two very different American producers.
Sonoma-based Jamie Kutch is a hopeful loner, born of the In Pursuit of Balance movement (although he has since been joined by the next generation – see picture below). Since the 2009 vintage he has made wine from fruit bought from carefully selected but quite widespread parcels of fruit from northern California. See my previous tasting notes.
