Richard Hemming worked for Majestic for six years, in Harrogate, Brighton, Belgravia then Notting Hill, doing WSET Diploma, before setting off to work in Australia for a year. He worked in a bottle shop in Sydney for a while and has just started work as a cellarhand in McLaren Vale. This is the first of a planned weekly series of reports on his hands-on experience of the 2008 vintage. Richard wants to return to the UK and become a wine writer. I don't see why not, do you?.
