Waitrose hits and misses

As most UK supermarkets continue to scrap for market share by focusing on reduced prices and no-frills retailing, Waitrose seems to be maintaining its image as the upper-class alternative. This is borne out by studying its wine offerings, which include a range of varieties, styles and origins that are unlikely ever to adorn the shelves of the discounters.
