West Coast Americans from Berry Bros

Field Morris and Verdin, the wholesale arm of Berry Bros and Rudd, have long enjoyed an enviable portfolio of wine producers from the west coast of the United States. I tasted the wines of 14 of them at their recent London tasting held at the hip Mercarto Metropolitano in Borough, south London. They represent both stalwarts and newcomers of California, Oregon and Washington, and offer a range of styles that would appear to suit every palate – if not every pocket.
The retail prices quoted here (most but not all of these wines are available via BBR) are rarely great...
