Purple pager Arjen Pen writes this shameless plug for his wine investment company. We present it as it is, and certainly without specific endorsement.
Many wine lovers dream of making their own wine and owning or co-owning a wine estate. Other wine enthusiasts enjoy putting some of their savings into icon wines (mainly Bordeaux first growths) and over the past decades have enjoyed great value increases (if they avoided opening the bottles themselves). After the financial crisis of October 2008 these icon wines lost some of their value but prices seem to have been revived in recent months by demand...
