In tenth grade, at the height of my Edgar Allen Poe phase, I read his famed story The Cask of Amontillado. In it, the narrator, Montresor, takes macabre revenge on an unsuspecting fellow nobleman, ironically named Fortunato, by luring him to taste a rare vintage of Amontillado and then walling him up alive in the catacombs of his estate.
