Serious but pink Aussie emerges

What better proof could there be of the Renaissance of Rosé (first trumpeted here more than two years ago in wine news) than the launch of a pink Jacob’s Creek? Just introduced into the UK, Australia’s biggest export market, is Jacob’s Creek Shiraz Rosé 2004 (yes, 2004!) at a robust £5.79. Those guys from Pernod Ricard’s most dynamic overseas outpost (whose Jacob’s Creek brand is the second most successful Australian brand in the UK after Hardy’s) don’t undertake these things by chance.
