Burgundy 2020 – very early harvest

9 September 2020 Rosi Hanson adds that some of her neighbours, Rollin and Pavelot in particular, have gone back to pick later-maturing grapes, and that, as indicated in Young Shi's account of the vintage, DRC's Corton-Charlemagne vines are currently being selectively picked. It's definitely not over til it's over.
4 September 2020 Last weekend Rosi (Mrs Anthony) Hanson told me that the harvest was already over in their village, Pernand-Vergelesses. Intrigued, I asked our man in Burgundy, Matthew Hayes, to send us this interim report on 2020 from the Côte d'Or.
