Today is the first day of Bordeaux 2013 primeurs week. For a really detailed look at the 2013 growing-season weather he describes as 'awful', see Professor Denis Dubourdieu's 10-page report (in English).
Note that he is very enthusiastic indeed about the dry whites, quite enthusiastic about the sweet whites, and describes the reds as 'variable, sometimes quite pleasant'. Hmm. Talk about damning with faint praise...
