Foley grabs Sebastiani

Bill Foley is rapidly becoming a big cheese in West Coast winemaking, evidenced by his latest winery purchase, Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery, founded by Italian immigrant Samuele Sebastiani in 1904 and one of California’s oldest producers. (Their Cherrbyblock Cabernet vineyard is pictured below.)
On 19 Dec, Foley Wine Group, based in Santa Barbara county, purchased Sebastiani from its third generation owners, adding the iconic Sonoma Valley winery and brand to Foley’s growing brood.
