To provide an all-encompassing view of Mandrolisai, the freshly minted Consorzio collected a number of samples from its members for me to taste before dinner at Su Connottu, an agriturismo located in Sorgono (pictured below just before the tasting notes). Su Connottu produces wine as well as all the organically grown ingredients they use for their rustic but delicious local dishes, including pasta, hams, salami, olives and vegetables...
