Many outsiders may most readily associate the UK wine merchant Haynes Hanson and Clark with Burgundy specialist Anthony Hanson MW but the company today is an all-rounder and, with its base in the Cotswolds, is particularly conscious of the needs of a certain sort of British country-dweller.
The buying team accordingly puts more effort than some of their rivals into selecting good-value red bordeaux that is ready to drink.
