In this week of the Master of Wine exams, we continue this series of relatively technical profiles of leading New Zealand wine producers of particular interest to Monty Waldin, author of Monty Waldin's Biodynamic Wine Guide 2011 (sold via www.lulu.com).
This Central Otago estate was created by Marquis Sauvage, an American wine importer with Maverick in Chicago and Classic Wines in Denver. Sauvage was born in 1967 on a large Kansas cattle farm.
