Early flowering, budbreak and veraison as throughout Germany – even earlier than 2000 and 2003. Disease pressure was never too serious or difficult to anticipate though there were some problems with sunburn in mid July for Riesling.

Yield predictions are very variable and difficult because of the current weather. Nevertheless the harvest is expected to be slightly higher than average, though it might be reduced if the current weather continues.
