Ch Angélus 2005 St-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé 16.5 Drink 2012-19
Dark glowing crimson. Intense tight nose. Thick, almost soupy wine that wants to make an impression but may have forgotten its duty to refresh. Is this trying just a bit too hard? For modernists. Uncomfortably tarry finish.

Fresh, aromatic dark fruit. Fine and fresh, with a lightness of touch lacking...
