Contrary to many other anteprima, or en primeur, tastings (see this guide to my recent reports), many of the 65 samples reviewed below were submitted to the tasting as cask samples. As the tasting was done under blind conditions, this became apparent only afterwards, and this left me wondering whether in the cases where I detected oxidative notes this was due more to insufficiently sulphured samples than to clumsy winemaking.
