Toro is such a relatively new fine wine region that many even quite sophisticated wine lovers outside Spain might appreciate this brief tour of the basics, although I have to say that I feel a bit of a fraud providing it as I haven’t actually been there – just listened to a host of Spanish wine producers talk about it as almost the Holy Grail.
