Mature and maturing burgundies

This is a Burgundian version of last week's collection of nearly 100 tasting notes on Mature and maturing bordeaux back to 1950, a response to your request for more reviews of older vintages. Since bordeaux is made in so much greater quantity than burgundy, I was quite surprised to find that these burgundy tasting notes totalled as many as 77 (32 whites and 45 reds) back to the great 1959 vintage.
