Bed and breakfast in southern Burgundy

Jacques, the brother of Martin Saunier, whose 2007 vintage report was published yesterday, recently converted his aunt’s home and small winery into a bed and breakfast in Collonges in the Mâconnais. There are four bedrooms and more details on www.gentilhommieredecollonges.fr. I have no personal experience of it but it does look awfully pretty.
Purple pager Mark Akers of Tennessee strongly recommends www.gites-de-france.com for their collection of individually rated guesthouses all over France. This one gets the top, four epis rating. Some of these chambres d'hote are extremely reasonably priced.
