Here are my notes from the rather sweltering tasting described in Great tastings – but where are the tasters? (So warm was the room in Claridge’s where it was held that it may well have played a part in Patrick Sandeman’s enthusiasm for the Alto Adige wines he tasted immediately afterwards, as referred to in Alto Adige – Italian wines with a German accent.)
