As promised, here is a set of tasting notes on some of the wines I didn't manage to taste when in Bordeaux three weeks ago, and an occasional re-taste of a significant wine that I feared I may have underrated.
I think that the appellations Médoc and Haut-Médoc in particular are likely to yield some of 2009's most outstanding bargains – indeed they may prove to be some of the few bargains available, although it was heartening to see that the Sichels released Ch d'Angludet in Margaux at a fairly reasonable price in...
